Stores
Every day, something new! Each store places an average of 800 to 2,000 items on the sales floor daily.
Shopping Goodwill offers an adventure in bargains and an opportunity to help build a stronger community.
Goodwill stores help provide the main financial support for Goodwill's vocational programs, programs which help people learn the skills to get and keep a job!
SHOP!
When you shop at Goodwill, the funds raised from your purchases help provide funding for training, support and education which helps individuals get and keep a job. Community members learn to overcome barriers to employment and self sufficiency.
How we do it:
- Items donated by individuals are sorted, priced and sold to you, our shopper, in one of our five retail stores.
- Revenue earned through the sale of your donations is used to fund Goodwill's job training programs and services to people who have disabilities or barriers to employment.
- Graduates of Goodwill job training programs are placed in meaningful employment and gain new lives of independence. Their employers, in turn, receive skilled, trained and dedicated employees.
- With Goodwill's help, local communities prosper. People, once reliant on government assistance, become taxpayers themselves and contribute to the economic stability of the area.
