Other Employee Programs and Information
Emergency Grant Program
Purpose: To provide funds for employees to assist with financial emergencies. These funds will be considered a forgivable loan and employees will not need to schedule repayment.
Examples of emergencies could be:
- Extended illness and/or uncovered emergency medical bills.
- Expenses incurred as the result of a death.
- Accidents, fire, flood, death, etc.
- Emergency car or house repairs.
- Other situations deemed to be of an emergency nature by management.
Employees must apply for assistance.
Employee Recognition Program
Purpose: To say “thank you” to our employees and to show that you are valued.
Each month we recognize years of service for all employees. Our CEO will present gift certificates personally at monthly staff meetings.
Eligibility: All employees, full or part time
Safety Awards Program
Purpose: To reward employees for obtaining certain safety standards over each quarter and for the year.
If a department has 0 Lost-time accidents and 0 accidents requiring professional medical attention, they will be rewarded as follows:
Quarterly:
Chips and pretzels delivered to the department.
Semi-Annual (January and June):
Lunch presented to all employees if the whole company has 0 accidents requiring outside medical attention.
Wellness Program
Purpose: Goodwill is initiating this program to provide opportunities to make healthy lifestyle choices that support long term health and well being.
Program Features:
- Blood pressure checks yearly
- Monthly wellness topics
- Various informational offerings throughout the year
