Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties, Inc. has been making a positive impact on Ohio communities for over 35 years. Through our education, job training and placement programs we help hundreds of people each year.

In 2005, Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties, Inc. placed 183 people in competitive employment and served 1,165 people by providing job retention and career development services.

Helping People - This year we will provide quality vocational services - job training and job placement for people with disabilities and disadvantages - averaging 200 people served each month.

 

 

Transitional Employer - Goodwill is proud to be a transitional employer, helping to build on-the-job skills to prepare many members of its workforce for other jobs in the community. Throughout 2004, we provided employment to 1,315 individuals, with over 50% having disabilities or disadvantages.  Currently, our workforce numbers approximately 170.

 

Industrial Services - Goodwill is one of the best business solution outsourcing partners in the area. Because Goodwill’s mission is to provide individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages employment opportunities, companies that select Goodwill as an outsource partner share in that mission.

 

Nationally Accredited - consistently received the highest endorsement from CARF, The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

 

Self supporting - Our revenues come primarily from our retail stores, industrial contract services and rehabilitation fees.

 

Fiscally Responsible - Just under 84 percent of every earned dollar at Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties, Inc. supports mission related services.
